This is one tasty Gluten-Free Apple Crumble with Coconut Oil & Maple Syrup. I love cooking with healthier sugar alternatives, and when I can add Maple Syrup into a dessert recipe, I will. This healthier Apple Crumble has less sugar than some other recipes, and it is so tasty. I use a lot of Cinnamon, but it works! Once this is cooked, add a scoop or two of Balkan Style thick Plain Yogurt to compliment this dish.

Pre-heat oven to 350.
While the oven is warming up... Peel your 6 Apples. Cut the cores out, and then dice the apples into thin slices. Set the Apples aside in a large bowl.
Next, in a small pot add 1 tablespoon of Coconut Oil, mix in 1 Tablespoon of Cinnamon, and 1/2 cup of either brown sugar or, as an alternative Coconut Sugar. On low heat, mix ingredients until liquid. Won't take long at all!
Poor the liquid mixture over the 6 apples, and mix them together.
Place the glazed apples in a baking pan. A 9x9 pan will work well.
In the same small cooking Pot now empty, that you just used for the apple coating, add 2 tablespoons of Coconut Oil, 1/2 cup of Maple Syrup, and 1 Tablespoon of Cinnamon. Mix and heat on low until the mixture is liquid.
In a medium sized bowl, add 1 1/2 Cups of Gluten Free Oats. Poor the liquid mixture over the oats, and mix. Take the mixture and spread it over the Glazed apples.
Bake this Apple Maple Crumble for 1/2 an hour. You will find the crumble is crisp and apples flavourful.
Add a scoop of thick plain yogurt, and enjoy. You will have 6-7 good sized servings.
