Gluten Free Yam Pizza Crust Recipe

I topped this awesome crust with sliced Pear, Prosciutto, ripe Goat Cheese, & sliced black olives. I finished it by drizzling pure liquid honey over all the other ingredients! Yum!

Yam Pizza Crust
 ½ cup Shredded Yam
 1 cup Gluten Free All Purpose Flour
 1 tbsp Baking Powder
 1 Large Egg
 ¼ cup Milk
 1 pinch Himalyan Salt
 1 Pepper
Pizza Topping:
 1 Sliced Ripe Pear
 2 tbsp Ripe Goat Cheese, crumbled
 2 Slices Prosciutto
 1 Handful Sliced Black Olives
 1 tbsp Pure Liquid Honey

Shred enough Yam to make 1 Cup full. Pre-heat over to 350.

Step 1: Beat egg, and milk.
Step 2: Add Gluten Free Flour, and baking powder, salt and pepper: mix.
Step 3: Add shredded yam to the mix.

Step 4: Place parchment paper on counter that you will be using on your baking pan too. Place the dow mix in the centre of the parchment paper. Take another piece of parchment paper and place it over the dow. Then roll your dow out into a pizza crust. It is quite a thin crust pizza, so don't be shy about making it thin.

Step 5: Carefully peal back the top piece of parchment paper, wa-la, now it is time to bake your crust. Place it in your oven, and bake for 12-13 minutes.

Step 6: Pull it out and now add your toppings. Set your oven to a low Broil.

Pear, Goat Cheese, Olives and Prosciutto Topping:

Step 7: Top with sliced pear, sliced black olives, prosciutto pieces, crumbled goat cheese and drizzle honey over it.

Step 8: Monitor your pizza once back in the oven while it is broiling on low for 5-7 minutes.
