Healthy Valentine’s Frozen Yogurt Hearts

Yields1 ServingPrep Time3 minsTotal Time3 mins

This recipe was inspired by the FroYo Bites on Babble by Brooke Mclay. I loved the idea of freezing yogurt as a healthy snack, and thought a new twist of making yogurt into hearts would be a fun idea for Valentine's Day! Feel free to place different fruits on the hearts, and also play around with different yogurt flavours. Enjoy!

1 cup Cherry Yogurt 4-6% Fat content
¼ cup Frozen Raspberries or other fruit of choice
1

Place yogurt in ziplock back, close ziplock and make sure air is out of the bag. Cut a small triangle off of one of the bottom corners.

Place parchment paper on cookie sheet.

Take the yogurt that is in the ziplock bag and make heart shapes on the parchment paper.

On a cutting board, crush the frozen raspberries or another fruit you like. Once you are finished making hearts sprinkle the frozen fruits pieces over the hearts...

Freeze for 1-2 hours. Keep in the freezer and have as a healthy snack. On Valentines day, these make a great frozen treat for your kids! Enjoy.

As a secondary option, you can make yogurt drops, and add a semi sweet chocolate chips too the top of the drop too...
