I originally discovered this amazing thai Basil Beef Recipe from Kelly's Blog, Chef Savvy: www.chef savvy.com I made some tweaks to it, as I really don't like green onions, but I do love mushrooms, and cashews in my Thai Food. My 3 year old also loves mushrooms and cashews. It was a winning combination. I also played around with the sauce amounts and found it to work well, as it reduced down. I hope you enjoy it!

Basmati Rice Preparation
1 cup Basmati Rice
2 cups Water
Prepping the stir-fry beef
2 cups Stir-fry beef
1 tbsp Corn starch
3 tbsp Cold water
2 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tsp Olive oil
Cooking the vegetables
1.50 tbsp Minced garlic
1 Red pepper thinly diced
5 Medium mushrooms
2 tbsp Soy sauce
1 tbsp Brown sugar
2 tbsp Fish sauce
3 tbsp Oyster sauce
12 Fresh basil leaves
¼ cup Whole cashews
