A Winter Cobb Salad that is sure to fill you up, and satisfy your guests. You'll find this recipe has a combination of raw vegetables and fruits, as well as, baked and even fried veggies! This salad is a bit time intensive when you consider how quickly you can make some salads, but it is so worth it.
Step 1: Fry Bacon; set a side once cooked.
Step 2: Cut potato into fries, bake for 25 minutes at 375.
Step 3: Dice Brussel Sprouts into 4 quarters for each sprout, then fry in bacon fat for 2-3 minutes. Set aside with bacon once cooked.
Step 4: Prep your veggies and fruits, cut them into desired thicknesses.
Step 5: Boil your 1 Egg for 8.5 minutes at a rolling boil. Run Cold water on the egg for 1 minute when done boiling it. It'll make pealing it easier.
Step 6: Place lettuce at the base of your salad bowl, and then add in rows your other ingredients you've prepped. Wa-la!
Done. Enjoy with your favourite salad dressing. I used a Ranch dressing this time, and it worked out great. My toddler and I really liked having this Winter Cobb Salad for dinner.
