Nature’s Path Organic Summer Berry Granola
Looking for tasty gluten-free granola, this may be it. It has yogurt chunks in it, so it isn’t dairy-free, but if you are okay with dairy this is great granola. It is a part of the non-gmo project and is a product of the USA.
It is certified organic.
What’s in it?
Ingredients: Gluten-free whole grain rolled oats, granulated sugar cane juice, sunflower oil, yogurt chunks (sugar, palm kernel oil, non-fat milk, lactic acid . Soy lecithin, Vanilla), rice starch, freeze-dried blueberries, freeze-dried berry blend (freeze-dried strawberries and raspberries), sea salt, natural strawberry flavor. Tocopherols (added to enhance freshness).
Notably. Use caution for allergies as it may contain: milk and soy, plus possibly peanuts and tree nuts.
It is deemed vegetarian.
Overall, I like this granola a lot. Half a cup offers you 250 calories, so it is a nice option to take on a Long walk or even a hike for some needed energy.
I’m not crazy about the palm kernel oil used, yet i do like that it is all organic, which helps to reduce the exposure to toxic synthetic chemicals and genetically modified seeds and organisms. I’m also a big fan of freeze-dried fruits.
