This is a super easy recipe to make and your kids will love it! I use a Gluten Free Kinnikinnick Foods Pie Crust that can be purchased in any Canadian Walmart. You are welcome to make your own too though.
This is a very simple Omelette recipe that offers a lot of nutritional value and gets you ready to take on your day!
Super simple delicious breakfast that is gluten free! It really is very tasty and oh so simple! Just 3 ingredients and then add whatever fruit you have available the next morning.
The other night, I didn’t have greek salad dressing, or even olives, but I did have cucumbers, tomatoes, and feta cheese! We had picked up Kraft’s Golden Italian Salad dressing, and I thought… why not? Turns out to have worked well. I decorated the top of my salad with pansies from the garden. Notably, the blue flower is not edible, but made for a pretty affect. This is a simple salad with a salad dressing that only added 60 extra calories to it. It was fresh and tasty!
Looking for a refreshing smoothie where you can’t really taste the Spinach? Plus with the orange juice and berries, it’ll help your body take in the iron from the spinach… Here it is! Tasty and refreshing.
I originally discovered this amazing thai Basil Beef Recipe from Kelly’s Blog, Chef Savvy: www.chef savvy.com I made some tweaks to it, as I really don’t like green onions, but I do love mushrooms, and cashews in my Thai Food. My 3 year old also loves mushrooms and cashews. It was a winning combination. I also played around with the sauce amounts and found it to work well, as it reduced down. I hope you enjoy it!
Who doesn’t love a great and easy Curry that is quick to whip up! With only 7 ingredients to this Curry, it is sure to be a nice lunch or dinner option for one person.
This is one tasty Gluten-Free Apple Crumble with Coconut Oil & Maple Syrup. I love cooking with healthier sugar alternatives, and when I can add Maple Syrup into a dessert recipe, I will. This healthier Apple Crumble has less sugar than some other recipes, and it is so tasty. I use a lot of Cinnamon, but it works! Once this is cooked, add a scoop or two of Balkan Style thick Plain Yogurt to compliment this dish.
These low sugar cookies are loaded with goodness! You’ll be getting energy from the oats, and fine unsweetened Shredded Coconut. There is only 1/2 a cup of sugar in these cookies and I used Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips. You can substitute the sugar for Coconut Sugar or Cane sugar to make these even a healthier treat! I love the chocolate and roasted coconut taste of these… Yum! My toddler had a lot of fun making them with me and & eating them too.
My son loves this Strawberry smoothie. It is not to sweet, and full of Vitamin C.
